Adobe Expands Enterprise AI Capabilities with Launch of AI Foundry
Adobe has intensified its push into enterprise artificial intelligence with the introduction of Adobe AI Foundry, a new service built atop its Firefly family of generative AI models. The offering enables businesses to create customized large language models (LLMs) capable of producing text, images, videos, and 3D scenes—all trained on licensed data to mitigate copyright risks.
The San Jose-based company adopts a usage-based pricing model for AI Foundry, diverging from the seat-based approach of its traditional products. Since launching Firefly in 2023, Adobe's AI tools have already generated over 25 billion digital assets for corporate clients. "We're surgically reopening the Firefly-based models," said Hannah Elsakr, VP of generative AI at Adobe, suggesting precise customization of foundational models for enterprise needs.
